Terms of Service

1. Who we are

vconfig.ai (the “Site”) and the vConfig software (the “Software”) are operated by the independent developer of vConfig (“we”, “us”). Paid subscriptions are sold and billed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which processes your payment and issues your invoice under its own terms of purchase.

2. The service

Through the Site we provide: Software downloads and deployment scripts, online license activation and management, over-the-air updates, product documentation, and — for subscribers — ticket support and remote assistance. The Software itself runs on your own servers as a self-hosted product and its use is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA).

3. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal; service continues until the end of the paid period.
• An active subscription entitles you to: the device limit of your tier, Software updates, ticket support and remote assistance.
• When a subscription lapses, the Software reverts to Free-plan limits (10 devices). Your data is preserved and the Software keeps running.

4. Refunds

Full refund within 14 days of your first purchase, no questions asked — email [email protected] with your order number. For renewal charges, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will resolve it fairly, including pro-rated refunds where appropriate.

5. Acceptable use

You must not: use the Site or activation service for unlawful purposes; attempt to bypass, crack or interfere with the licensing mechanism; load-test or attack the activation service; or resell or share license keys with third parties outside your organization.

6. Support service levels

For subscribers we target a first response within 2 business days (best effort, not a contractual guarantee). Remote assistance is by appointment. Free-plan users have access to documentation and community channels.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site and activation service are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these terms is capped at the subscription fees you actually paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or business interruption. You remain solely responsible for reviewing and approving any configuration changes to your network devices.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the Site with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.
